aida posterIt’s that time of year again! Blackhawk’s actors and singers have come together to put on our spring musical. This year, Mr. L selected the musically revamped production, Aida. The show is about Nubians captured and enslaved by Egypt. The main character, Aida, is one of the captives, but falls in love with the captain of the Egyptian army. There is a surprise twist in the plot, but you’ll have to come to the show to find out what it is.

Please come and enjoy this romantic love story. Students will have the chance to see the musical on Thursday, March 21. Opening night is March 22 and the show will also be open to the public on Saturday, March 23. Performances begin at 7:00 p.m., but the doors open at 6:30. Tickets are available at the door: $7 for adults and $5 for students.
