Braves Advance to Semi-State Saturday

All the Carolinas, position drills, and passing drills have finally paid off for BCS Boys’ Soccer Team. After winning regionals, 2-0 against Westview, the team is getting ready for semi-state in Laville, IN this Saturday against Guerin Catholic High School. The game starts at 12:00 pm and if BCS wins then the next game is at 7:00 pm the same night.2014 Boys Soccer Regional-1415230989

Jonathan Williams scored both goals for BCS in the shutout last Saturday against Westview. He has high expectations for the team this Saturday, “I am expecting it to be a challenge just like every game.” He explains that the team is training hard everyday to improve their game to make sure this game is fast-paced and that the team can have good possession of the ball.

2014 Boys Soccer Regional-1415280997Overall, Jonathan explains throughout the season the team has improved on shooting and being more opportunistic. He admits, “The greatest memory so far has been winning the first regional championship in Blackhawk Christian Schools.”
