Boys’ Basketball Senior Spotlight

With the end of the Boys’ Basketball regular season approaching, it is appropriate to pay homage to the 7 splendiferous seniors in the basketball program here at BCS. Each of these 7 seniors has made a great contribution to the BCS basketball program and deserves to be commended for his hard work.

Brady Cleaveland is a fan favorite at BCS. Many times at home games, the Blackhawk students will chant Brady’s name, beckoning Coach D. to put Brady into the game. Brady is a great kid and provides a great deal of energy to this team. Thank you Brady!

Wes Davidson will go down as possibly the best scorer in Blackhawk history. Wes is currently averaging 23 points per game this season, a BCS record. Wes will play ball at the next level, and is currently weighing schools such as Anderson, Wisconsin-Platteville, and Calvin. We thank Wes for his contributions and wish him the best of luck at the next level.

Joey Morlan has been a household name for BCS basketball the last four years. The 6’5” Florida Southern commit broke 1,000 career points earlier this year to add to his phenomenal career. We wish Joey the best of luck as he continues to play at the next level and thank him for his time at BCS.

Riley Reimschisel is another household name at BCS. The 5’10” point guard can do a number of things on the basketball court – dribbling, passing, shooting, defending – you name it. Riley will truly be missed after this year and we thank him for his part in these last 4 years.

Preston Rippe epitomizes Blackhawk basketball. A hard-nosed workhorse, Preston is an unselfish team player that can do a variety of things on the basketball court. Preston’s specialty is taking charges, as Rippe is the school’s all-time leader in charges taken. Thank you Preston!

Nathan Targgart is back this year after taking time off from basketball during his junior year. Targgart is very unselfish and has performed very efficiently in his minutes this season. Nathan is also a phenomenal baseball player and will play college baseball at Taylor University. Thank you Nathan for your huge part in BCS athletics!

Michael Wharton is up there with Brady Cleaveland for the fan favorite at BCS. Wharton has provided great minutes as a role player this year for BCS. Michael is another example of a great team player and we thank him for his unselfish play during his time at BCS.

Come out to see BCS play this Friday, February 27 at 7:30 at Heritage for their last regular season game!
