What’s God calling you to do?

Romans 10:13-15:

13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” 14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?[a] And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

Today in chapel Rod and Lori Kraybill were our guest speakers. Rod and Lori are missionaries in Africa who talked to us about how they ‘keep it real’. Always on the move, it’s hard for Rod and Lori to keep it real, but the best way they keep it real is through prayer.

Rod used an example of the sun and moon to demonstrate how Christians are supposed to reflect God’s light. The sun shines like the light of God, but the moon does not have its own light- only the reflection of the sun. Missionaries have to keep it real because if they don’t they aren’t giving off the all of the light of God’s word.

The closing question Rod left us with was “What is God calling you to do?”
